Normality? The peasant blouse

After that last post I wanted to start off again with something a bit more 'normal'.

Complete with sweet little strawberries (thank you for the fabric Great Aunty Cuggle) I made one of these easy tops for Little Miss Cuggle a while ago.  Just thought I'd share.

There are a few tutes out there but I used this one from Indie Tutes.

(I'm still going on the quilt but the way, wondering if it's too ambitious to finish it for mid March when Little Miss turns 3).

  1. I love your creation, pretty style and fabric. I will have to have a look at tutorials - have been hesitant so far in case I muck things up. And haven't attempted clothes before. I read your previous post and think you are doing nice things to help. I just don't know how I would go. I have done some small things but compared to others it isn't much. Again I think your spirit and conversation with others is a great help and encouragement too - probably not noticed by you but seen and felt of others :-) xxx

  2. Thanks so much for your encouragement and kind words. As for your sewing ambitions... why not start with some inexpensive fabric to practice on. It doesn't matter if you muck up here and there, that's how you learn. I'm sure anyone who sews a lot will tell you they still stuff up every now and then, me included. That little top is a good one to start on though, if you go slow and follow the instructions you might surprise yourself.: )
